We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our startup.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team and help us further scale the most innovative regtech product for the financial services industry. You will be joining us in our Lisbon office.

Our products are used by global financial services companies to fully automate their compliance processes as well as by the most reputable global law firms to provide their knowledge through digital channels. Apiax products connect consumers and providers of regulatory data and fuels any digital initiative with a compliance-by-design approach.

You will play an important role in ensuring our users are happy and successful when using Apiax tools and services. You help to continuously improve the quality of our tools with quality assurance procedures and test automation. You ensure that our users have a persistent experience in using our products and they have a place to go where they get served when facing any problem.

What you will be tasked to do:

  • Ensure that anomalies are detected as early as possible while allowing teams to intervene quickly and frequently

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases

  • Help implement test automation on a number of Apps and Modules within Apiax’ given test framework

  • Continuously improve and automate the support process to cope with growing users requests

  • You take on every user request (phone, mail, ticket) and take care of a smooth resolution

  • Share knowledge, experience and work closely with other members of the team

  • Provide constructive feedback on the overall user experience by putting yourself in the shoes of a real customer

  • Bachelor degree in technology and/or business administration

  • Fluency in English; advanced verbal and written communication skills

  • JavaScript is a plus

  • A high sense for quality standards in products and services

  • A strong focus on customer centricity and user experience

  • Experience in quality engineering

  • Experience in test automation is a plus

  • High sense of responsibility and reliability

  • Persuasion and goal-orientation

  • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor. Self-motivation and self-direction
